Aw, I really like this. It's so cute yet sad. Great job.

Thanks! I am working on a super hero one, but I can't make the cape flap in a realistic way. I was wondering if you had any pointers since you made that hanky blow so realistically.

Wow, I being asked for tips! :wOOt:
I'll try to help as much as I can. The hankie is only two frames, so it's fairly easy. The first frame is the limp one, so it will hang straight down and be skinny. The next frame will be a flare, so the cape will need to stretch out about one pixel on each side and make it a pixel shorter. To give the image of wrinkles, have a couple of single pixels stretch from the holding point, (where the cape is connected to) towards the bottom of the cape, but be careful to avoid touching the border of your emote if the border is black, otherwise it will look like you did a bad job putting in your pixels. Depending on the size of the cape you may need to make more frames to create a nice blend from the loose cape to the flared cape. My best suggestion is to create a few frames, then look at them at 100% size and see what they look like. Keep playing until you find something you are satisfied with. I hope I helped and good luck.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
